I grew up in St. Louis, MO in a loving Christian home as the oldest of 6 children. Leadership and responsibility came my way early in life. What started as an unwelcome burden blossomed into a life of leading others that I wouldn't trade for the world. I met my beautiful wife, Danielle, while attending Ohio State University on athletic scholarship. We were married at 24 and 22, and decided to make Columbus our permeant home. Early in our marriage I achieved my MBA from Capital University and began climbing the corporate ladder.
Mortgage was the industry I chose, and at the age of 30 I was tapped to help start a brand-new company that would become lower.com. That same year my first son was born. Two years later we were blessed with our second son, and our 4-pack was officially formed. As my career grew my opportunities did as well. I became President of our company, leading thousands of employees and overseeing multiple customer-facing departments. I grew to love leadership and authored our company's foundational and advanced leadership development platform. I had the opportunity to train hundreds of leaders over a decade timeframe and had too many curve balls thrown my way to count.
My faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is my number one asset, and how I base my identity. I had a deep desire to blend my faith with my everyday work. This desire formed the basis for Tithe Lending. I founded Tithe Lending with my business partner with the mission to honor God with our work, and to love our neighbors with the proceeds. We donate 10% of every transaction to local Christian charities. With that in mind, I founded the Tithe Foundation. We have grown to incorporate other business leaders and partners to combine our generosity as the body of Christ, fueling those on the front lines of ministry. Tithe Foundation conducts formal "grant nights" where our partners vote on fund distributions to our various non-profit partners.
I love developing leaders. I love assisting teams. And even more - I love helping others see how they can use their gifts and talent for the glory of God. I'm happy to assist you in any way that I can.
